For high net worth divorce
Trace the money across every entity
An operating company, the holding entities, a trust, the property LLCs and the personal accounts underneath them. Upload the whole production and CounselPro resolves every account in it, traces what left each one, and names the accounts the transfers point to, with the statement page under every figure.

Entities the records name
11,400
Pages, uploaded in the order they arrived
Six accounts across two entities are named by transfers in the accounts you do hold. Each one carries the transfers that printed its number, and the statement page each was read from (····7318.pdf, p. 31).
What the statements give away
Money in a large estate leaves a shape. It moves between entities, it changes name on the way, and it lands somewhere that has a statement of its own. Each of these is answered on the records, and each answer keeps the page it was read from.
Compensation that changed shape
A salary that steps down in the year the petition became foreseeable, with the difference arriving as a distribution, a loan from the company or a bonus dated after the judgment. Income is computed from the deposits, with internal transfers and loan proceeds set aside, so the change reads on the record.
The company paying for the household
Charter hours, the property manager, the staff, the second residence. Spending is read by merchant and period across every entity in the case, so what the operating account paid for the household comes back as one figure with the pages behind it.
An entity nobody else pays
A recipient that appears in one account and nowhere else in the production is flagged as an unusual recipient, with the transfers that fed it, the dates they landed and the page each was read from.
Separate property, commingled
The inheritance or the pre-marital account followed hop by hop through the joint accounts and out again, so the tracing argument rests on transfers with dates and pages rather than on a recollection of them.
The names printed on the card account
A card statement prints the people who hold a card on the account, and the read comes back with how many there are and who they are. A cardholder who appears on no disclosure is a finding on its own, and it is on the first page.
Amounts just under the reporting threshold
Ask for it and the agent flags amounts sized just under the $10,000 and $5,000 reporting lines across short windows, plus the suspiciously round ones, each with the account and the date it cleared.
What leaves the company
Every branch is built from transfers with a date, an amount and a counterparty read off the statement. Green is a chain that closes on an account in the case. Amber is one that ends at an entity the case knows only from the transfers that name it.
Two chains end outside the case
The management company and Halloway Partners take $2,420,000 across twenty-four months, and the case knows both of them only from the transfers that name them (····7318, p. 31).
The card runs on company money
The company card is funded from the operating account and spends against the household categories, at $620,000 over the same period (····8842, p. 4).
Every hop keeps its page
Each branch is built from transfers with a date, an amount and a counterparty read off the statement, and each links back to the line the bank printed (····2094, p. 12).
Every entity, one case
An estate spread across a company, its holding entities and the personal accounts is not read in a spreadsheet. The reconciliation ledger, the statement page a figure came off and the transaction it belongs to stay open together, and a row on any one of them carries the same page reference as the others.
Ask where the money went
The agent reads the case's own statement data, runs every sum in a sandboxed calculator and prints the inputs beside the result. Threads are shared across the firm, so the associate who found the transfer and the partner taking the deposition are reading the same thread.
What you can ask about an account with no file
The coverage view has account 6690 at nothing produced against twelve months. You can still ask what left the accounts you do hold for it, in the words you would use with a colleague.
How the agent reaches a figure
Three transfers, and the sum printed with the three numbers that made it. Every ratio, percentage and date calculation runs the same way, so the arithmetic sits on the page beside the answer and holds when someone checks it.
What the answer gives you to ask for
$27,500 in three transfers, each one linked back to the statement page it was read from. That is the account you name in the next request, and the figure you name beside it.
From the dump to the deposition
The production lands
One PDF from opposing counsel and six subpoena returns, in whatever order they were sent. It goes up as it arrived, with no pre-sorting and no account buckets defined first.
Every account is named
The pages are split into individual statement periods, each account is resolved to the entity that holds it by voting across sources, and each transfer’s counterparty is read out of the description the bank printed.
The flow is drawn
Where money left each entity and what it reached, hop by hop, with the branches that end at a recipient the case has nothing else on flagged for you.
The questions get written
Transfers, dates, amounts and pages, in a list. You depose from the record, you write the next request naming accounts instead of categories, and you read the offer on the table against what the statements show.
Review the financials before hiring an expert
Scoped from the schedule
- The engagement is quoted before anyone has read the production.
- Scope comes off the schedule of assets, which is the document in dispute.
- Weeks pass before you know whether there is anything to find.
- The settlement conference arrives with the analysis still out.
Scoped from the records
- The whole production is read the week it lands, on a flat subscription.
- Scope comes off the accounts and entities the records actually name.
- You know what is in there before you write the retainer letter.
- The expert is briefed on the entities that matter, with the pages already cited.
Before you upload
- Can CounselPro trace assets through multiple LLCs and trusts?
- Yes. Every account in the production is resolved to the entity that holds it, and money is traced to its recipients by the account last four on a transfer, the payee on a check, the loan servicer, the payment app and the named individual. A recipient that appears in one account and nowhere else in the case is flagged, with the transfers that fed it and the page each was read from.
- How many accounts and statements can one case hold?
- A production of thousands of pages goes up as one upload, in whatever order it arrived, and comes back split into individual statement periods per account. Every entity in the estate lives in one case rather than one case per company, and the subscription is flat, so a case with fifty thousand transactions costs what a case with five hundred costs.
- What documents does it read for a high net worth divorce?
- Statements are what it reads: bank, credit card, check images and investment statements, personal and business alike, from virtually any U.S. institution including regional banks and credit unions. The engine compiles a reading plan per statement layout, so an unfamiliar format reads the same way a common one does, and scanned pages go through OCR first.
- Does it handle brokerage and retirement accounts?
- Brokerage and investment statement support is coming in Q4 2026: holdings, buy and sell activity and realised gains and losses, each row carrying the source page it was read from and checked against the statement’s own printed section totals. Bank, credit card and check statements are read today.
- How do I show where a figure came from?
- Click any transaction and the statement opens at the page it was read from. The reconciliation and check workspaces keep the source page open beside the data the whole time, so a figure is checked where it is read and opposing counsel can read one against the other.
- Will the numbers hold up on cross-examination?
- Every statement cycle is balanced to the beginning and ending totals the bank printed on it, per account, and a cycle that comes up short is read again against the page image until every figure matches. A figure the records cannot support is left open and flagged for you, with the page beside it. Full reconciliation is the premium tier.
Upload the production first
