# How much does CounselPro cost?

> CounselPro has two ways to pay: $499 for a single project you can bill to the client, or an annual subscription starting at $100 a month for unlimited projects.

CounselPro gives you two ways to pay, and the right one depends on how often you handle financial cases.

## What does a single project cost?

A single project is **$499** for one matter, with every feature included: extraction, categorization, AI querying, and full reconciliation. It comes with 1,000 credits, and you can add more if a case runs long.

The $499 is easy to pass through. You bill it straight to the client as a case expense, the same way you would a filing fee or a records request. And if you decide to run cases regularly, the $499 counts toward a subscription as long as you upgrade within 30 days.

## What do the annual plans cost?

If you handle financial cases across a steady caseload, an annual plan drops your cost per matter well below $499. Every plan covers unlimited projects and unlimited users on one subscription, and each comes with 12,000 credits for the year.

There are three plans:

1. **Core** is $100 a month, billed yearly. It pulls and sorts every transaction from bank and credit card statements.
2. **Plus** is $250 a month, billed yearly. It adds the Daystrom AI chat and AI forensic reports, with brokerage statements coming Q4 2026.
3. **Premier** is $500 a month, billed yearly. It adds self-healing reconciliation, so every number ties out to the statement.

For the full breakdown of what each plan gets you, see [what's included in each CounselPro plan](https://www.counselpro.ai/docs/whats-included-in-each-plan). You can also compare every plan side by side on the [pricing page](https://www.counselpro.ai/pricing).

## How does billing actually work?

Every plan runs on credits, not a page counter. One page of a bank statement costs 1 credit, and denser documents like tax forms cost 2. See [what are credits and how does CounselPro count usage](https://www.counselpro.ai/docs/what-are-credits) for the details.

> **Note:** CounselPro never charges per user or per seat. One subscription covers your whole firm, so you can add as many attorneys and staff as you want at no extra cost.
